Its quite strange to realise how our orientations towards others and their actions change post any incident or event.
You may be a good chum to someone, and due to an issue the other person may just stop talking to you. Suddenly all those simple acts of friendship and help are looked upon as acts of pity or means to get back to them. Then they may even go at lengths to prove that they don’t need your pity.
